Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Virata su Pontinia by Sibò was auctioned at Bonhams in New York in July last year. The price achieved of GBP 8,925.00 (€ 10,658.04) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 7,000.00 – 10,000.00. Other works by Sibò have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in April last year the work Prospettive aeree was auctioned for GBP 12,750.00 (€ 15,203.92).
