It achieved a price of GBP 16,250.00 (€ 17,067.23), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 35%. Admittedly, works by Sidney Harold Meteyard have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Saint Cecilia in November 2004 with an auction result of GBP 59,750.00 (€ 85,950.05).

Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 16.250,00 (€ 17.067,23) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 35%. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Sidney Harold Meteyard auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Saint Cecilia im November 2004 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 59.750,00 (€ 85.950,05).
