Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Simon Bill could be acquired at Christies in London in September 2014 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Christie's Interiors auction, the work Mogwai changed hands for GBP 500.00 (€ 642.22) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 800.00 – 1,200.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Simon Bill - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Greenhouse, which sold at auction in September 2017 for GBP 1,250.00 (€ 1,418.14).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Simon Bill konnte im September 2014 bei Christies in London für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Christie's Interiors wechselte die Arbeit Mogwai für GBP 500,00 (€ 642,22) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 800,00 – 1.200,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Simon Bill mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Greenhouse beobachtet, die im September 2017 für GBP 1.250,00 (€ 1.418,14) versteigert wurde.
