Auction result misses estimated price range
In May 2007 a collector was able to acquire the work Evening sun, mother and child on the shore by Sine MacKinnon for GBP 900.00 (€ 1,324.41). This price was achieved in the auction The Irish Sale Part II at Christies in London and was even below the estimate range of GBP 1,000.00 – 1,500.00 set by the auction house. Admittedly, works by Sine MacKinnon have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work La Boutique Jaune in May 2005 with an auction result of GBP 5,400.00 (€ 7,972.09).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Mai 2007 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Evening sun, mother and child on the shore von Sine MacKinnon für GBP 900,00 (€ 1.324,41) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion The Irish Sale Part II bei Christies in London erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 1.000,00 – 1.500,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Sine MacKinnon auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit La Boutique Jaune im Mai 2005 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 5.400,00 (€ 7.972,09).
