It achieved a price of GBP 10,200.00 (€ 11,867.84), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 28%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Edward Burne-Jones achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Love among the Ruins in July 2013 with an auction result of GBP 14,845,875.00 (€ 16,963,999.76).
