In the Christie's Interiors auction, the work Eloquentia Amoris sold for GBP 3,250.00 (€ 4,098.95) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 1,800.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by James Dromgole Linton - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Thanksgiving, which sold at auction in January 2010 for USD 21,250.00 (€ 15,320.84).
