Auction result well in line with expectations
In June 2011 Christies in London held the auction Victorian & British Impressionist Art, which included the work Rosa Siega by Luke Fildes. The price achieved of GBP 10,625.00 (€ 11,754.59) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 8,000.00 – 12,000.00. Other works by Luke Fildes have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in July 2016 the work Simpletons (The Sweet River) was auctioned for GBP 15,000.00 (€ 17,823.24).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Juni 2011 führte Christies in London die Auktion Victorian & British Impressionist Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Rosa Siega von Luke Fildes zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 10.625,00 (€ 11.754,59) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 8.000,00 – 12.000,00 angegeben worden. Andere Arbeiten von Luke Fildes konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im Juli 2016 die Arbeit Simpletons (The Sweet River) für GBP 15.000,00 (€ 17.823,24) versteigert.
