Auction result well in line with expectations
The work A Pairs Of Sparrows by Song Di was auctioned at POLY in Hong Kong in October 2013. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of HKD 20,000.00 – 50,000.00, the actual price achieved of HKD 23,000.00 (€ 2,182.58) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Song Di - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Morning In Li River, which sold at auction in May 2016 for HKD 41,300.00 (€ 4,773.52).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit A Pairs Of Sparrows von Song Di kam im Oktober 2013 bei POLY in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von HKD 20.000,00 – 50.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von HKD 23.000,00 (€ 2.182,58) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Für andere Arbeiten von Song Di mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Morning In Li River beobachtet, die im Mai 2016 für HKD 41.300,00 (€ 4.773,52) versteigert wurde.
