Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work The Third Eye by Song Kun was auctioned at Bonhams in Hong Kong in May last year. It achieved a price of HKD 104,550.00 (€ 12,412.33), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 16%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Song Kun achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Garden of Auspicious Animals in December 2021 with an auction result of HKD 2,375,000.00 (€ 269,018.38).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit The Third Eye von Song Kun kam im Mai letzten Jahres bei Bonhams in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von HKD 104.550,00 (€ 12.412,33) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 16%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Song Kun erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Garden of Auspicious Animals im Dezember 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 2.375.000,00 (€ 269.018,38).
