Auction result well in line with expectations
The work floral arrangement in Zuni jar by Stan Natchez was sold in the Modern Native American Art auction at Bonhams in April this year. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of USD 1,000.00 – 1,500.00, the actual price achieved of USD 1,020.00 (€ 923.91) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Stan Natchez - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Unknown, which sold at auction in August last year for USD 2,167.50 (€ 2,153.50).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit floral arrangement in Zuni jar von Stan Natchez wurde im April diesen Jahres in der Auktion Modern Native American Art bei Bonhams versteigert. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von USD 1.000,00 – 1.500,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von USD 1.020,00 (€ 923,91) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Für andere Arbeiten von Stan Natchez mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Unknown beobachtet, die im August letzten Jahres für USD 2.167,50 (€ 2.153,50) versteigert wurde.
