Auction result misses estimated price range
In April 2021 a collector was able to acquire the work Water Drop Wort 2, 2012 by Susan Derges for GBP 4,750.00 (€ 5,463.88). This price was achieved in the auction Wisdom and Nature at Christies in London and was even below the estimate range of GBP 4,800.00 – 5,500.00 set by the auction house. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Susan Derges - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Selected Images From 'Full Circle', which sold at auction in October 2018 for USD 23,750.00 (€ 20,958.35).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im April 2021 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Water Drop Wort 2, 2012 von Susan Derges für GBP 4.750,00 (€ 5.463,88) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Wisdom and Nature bei Christies in London erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 4.800,00 – 5.500,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Susan Derges mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Selected Images From 'Full Circle' beobachtet, die im Oktober 2018 für USD 23.750,00 (€ 20.958,35) versteigert wurde.
