In April 2012 Christies in Dubai held the auction Modern and Contemporary Arab, Iranian and Turkish Art Part II, which included the work Untitled (from the Unknown Destination series) by Tahereh Samadi Tari. The »bidding war« ended at USD 18,750.00 (€ 14,173.41), 56% above the upper estimate. This high result makes Untitled (from the Unknown Destination series) the most expensive artwork by Tahereh Samadi Tari that we have observed at auctions so far.
