Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work CIRCLE ’96.12.1 by Takesada Matsutani was sold in the Asian 20th Century Art (Day Sale) auction at Christies in Hong Kong in November 2017. Here, the upper estimate of HKD 120,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for HKD 137,500.00 (€ 14,803.96). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Takesada Matsutani achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Work 65-W in June this year with an auction result of GBP 214,200.00 (€ 249,291.92).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit CIRCLE ’96.12.1 von Takesada Matsutani wurde im November 2017 in der Auktion Asian 20th Century Art (Day Sale) bei Christies in Hong Kong versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von HKD 120.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für HKD 137.500,00 (€ 14.803,96) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Takesada Matsutani erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Work 65-W im Juni diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 214.200,00 (€ 249.291,92).
