This artwork by Tang Yunyu achieved an unexpectedly high price at POLY in Hong Kong in April 2015. In the Chinese Modern and Contemporary Works on Paper auction, the work Huaqing Pool sold for HKD 23,600.00 (€ 2,727.47) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 10,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Tang Yunyu achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Reclining Nude on a Green Couch in November 2012 with an auction result of HKD 402,500.00 (€ 39,909.68).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Tang Yunyu erzielte im April 2015 bei POLY in Hong Kong einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Chinese Modern and Contemporary Works on Paper wurde die Arbeit Huaqing Pool für HKD 23.600,00 (€ 2.727,47) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 10.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Tang Yunyu erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Reclining Nude on a Green Couch im November 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 402.500,00 (€ 39.909,68).
