The work Les Promenades d'Euclide by Tano Festa was sold in the Milan Modern and Contemporary auction at Christies in Milan in April 2017. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 135,081.00 35% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Tano Festa - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Via Veneto 2, which sold at auction in April 2016 for EUR 517,800.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis um 35 % übertroffen
Die Arbeit Les Promenades d'Euclide von Tano Festa wurde im April 2017 in der Auktion Milan Modern and Contemporary bei Christies in Mailand versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 135.081,00 und damit 35% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Tano Festa mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Via Veneto 2 beobachtet, die im April 2016 für EUR 517.800,00 versteigert wurde.
