In March 2013 Christies in New York held the auction Japanese and Korean Art, which included the work Bokusho (Ink play) by Tawara Yusaku. The result of USD 5,000.00 (€ 3,901.37) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of USD 5,000.00 – 7,000.00. Other works by Tawara Yusaku have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in September 2013 the work Bokusho (Ink Play) was auctioned for USD 8,125.00 (€ 6,002.96).

Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von USD 5.000,00 (€ 3.901,37) entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 5.000,00 – 7.000,00.
