Auction result well in line with expectations
In June 2012 Christies in London held the auction Masterworks of Italian Photography 1945-1975 From the Collection of Paolo Morello, which included the work Jacqueline Bisset, circa 1960 by Tazio Secchiaroli. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 2,000.00 – 3,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 2,125.00 (€ 2,631.26) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Admittedly, works by Tazio Secchiaroli have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Sophia Loren, 1972 in June 2012 with an auction result of GBP 20,000.00 (€ 24,764.76).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Juni 2012 führte Christies in London die Auktion Masterworks of Italian Photography 1945-1975 From the Collection of Paolo Morello durch, in der auch die Arbeit Jacqueline Bisset, circa 1960 von Tazio Secchiaroli zur Versteigerung kam. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 2.000,00 – 3.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 2.125,00 (€ 2.631,26) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Tazio Secchiaroli auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Sophia Loren, 1972 im Juni 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 20.000,00 (€ 24.764,76).
