Auction result well in line with expectations
In October this year Bonhams in London held the auction Photographs, which included the work Honor Blackman as Pussy Galore in 'Goldfinger' by Terry O'Neill. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of USD 4,000.00 – 6,000.00, the actual price achieved of USD 4,224.00 (€ 3,996.97) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Terry O'Neill achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Brigitte Bardot, Spain in May this year with an auction result of GBP 48,260.00 (€ 56,150.83).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Oktober diesen Jahres führte Bonhams in London die Auktion Photographs durch, in der auch die Arbeit Honor Blackman as Pussy Galore in 'Goldfinger' von Terry O'Neill zur Versteigerung kam. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von USD 4.000,00 – 6.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von USD 4.224,00 (€ 3.996,97) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Terry O'Neill erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Brigitte Bardot, Spain im Mai diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 48.260,00 (€ 56.150,83).
