Despite a disappointment, a good price for Thelma Hulbert
When the work Winter landscape & table by Thelma Hulbert was auctioned at Christies in London in July 2007, the result was somewhat disappointing. The auction house had previously given the estimated price as a range of GBP 500.00 – 800.00, of which not even the lower limit was reached - in fact, the artwork changed hands for GBP 360.00 (€ 534.68). Despite this disappointing result, Winter landscape & table is the most expensive artwork by Thelma Hulbert that we have observed at auction so far.

Als die Arbeit Winter landscape & table von Thelma Hulbert im Juli 2007 bei Christies in London versteigert wurde, fiel das Ergebnis ein wenig enttäuschend aus. Das Auktionshaus hatte den Schätzpreis zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 500,00 – 800,00 angegeben, von der nicht einmal die Untergrenze erreicht wurde - tatsächlich wechselte das Kunstwerk für GBP 360,00 (€ 534,68) den Besitzer.
