In February 2017 Artcurial held the auction Old Master & 19th Century Art, which included the work Vue De Rome by Théodore Caruelle d'Aligny. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 1,950.00 63% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Théodore Caruelle d'Aligny - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work View of the Convent of La Verna, Tuscany, which sold at auction in July 2021 for GBP 5,040.00 (€ 5,910.45).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 63 % übertroffen
Im Februar 2017 führte Artcurial die Auktion Old Master & 19th Century Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Vue De Rome von Théodore Caruelle d'Aligny zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 1.950,00 und damit 63% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Théodore Caruelle d'Aligny mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit View of the Convent of La Verna, Tuscany beobachtet, die im Juli 2021 für GBP 5.040,00 (€ 5.910,45) versteigert wurde.
