Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Noble Man by Tian Liming was sold in the Chinese Contemporary Ink Paintings I - Contemporary Chinese Classical Paintings auction at POLY in Hong Kong in April 2014. The price achieved of HKD 138,000.00 (€ 12,834.90) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 80,000.00 – 180,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Tian Liming achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Sunshine Series in December 2013 with an auction result of CNY 1,416,000.00 (€ 169,767.91).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Noble Man von Tian Liming wurde im April 2014 in der Auktion Chinese Contemporary Ink Paintings I - Contemporary Chinese Classical Paintings bei POLY in Hong Kong versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 138.000,00 (€ 12.834,90) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 80.000,00 – 180.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Tian Liming erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Sunshine Series im Dezember 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von CNY 1.416.000,00 (€ 169.767,91).
