When the work Der Ballon- Wettbewerb (10)The Hot-Air Balloon Competition by Tiberio Colantuoni was auctioned at Sothebys in Munich in February 2007, the result was somewhat disappointing. The auction house had previously given the estimated price as a range of EUR 3,000.00 – 4,000.00, of which not even the lower limit was reached - in fact, the artwork changed hands for EUR 472.00. Despite this disappointing result, Der Ballon- Wettbewerb (10)The Hot-Air Balloon Competition is the most expensive artwork by Tiberio Colantuoni that we have observed at auction so far.

Als die Arbeit Der Ballon- Wettbewerb (10)The Hot-Air Balloon Competition von Tiberio Colantuoni im Februar 2007 bei Sothebys in München versteigert wurde, fiel das Ergebnis ein wenig enttäuschend aus.
