Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Naturaleza Muerta by Tilsa Tsuchiya was auctioned at Sothebys in New York in November 2017. The price achieved of USD 60,000.00 (€ 50,428.64) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 50,000.00 – 70,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Tilsa Tsuchiya achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Tristán e Isolda in May last year with an auction result of USD 882,000.00 (€ 821,917.81).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Naturaleza Muerta von Tilsa Tsuchiya kam im November 2017 bei Sothebys in New York zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 60.000,00 (€ 50.428,64) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 50.000,00 – 70.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Tilsa Tsuchiya erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Tristán e Isolda im Mai letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 882.000,00 (€ 821.917,81).
