Upper estimated price slightly exceeded

Here, the upper estimate of GBP 30,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 32,450.00 (€ 39,234.49). Admittedly, works by Timoleon von Neff have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Junge Mutter in October 2008 with an auction result of EUR 305,000.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Two street urchins on a rooftop with a panorama of Rome beyond von Timoleon von Neff wurde im November 2008 in der Auktion Russian Pictures, Icons & Works of Art bei Christies in London versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 30.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 32.450,00 (€ 39.234,49) einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Timoleon von Neff auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Junge Mutter im Oktober 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 305.000,00.
