Auction result well in line with expectations

It changed hands for a price of GBP 562.50 (€ 633.47) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 400.00 – 600.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Tito Lessi achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Toscanelli et les ambassadeurs de Portugal in November 2001 with an auction result of GBP 21,150.00 (€ 33,656.31).

Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von GBP 562,50 (€ 633,47) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 400,00 – 600,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Tito Lessi erzielen.
