Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Razz, 1980 by Tony DeLap was sold in the Contemporary Art & Editions Online auction at Bonhams in Los Angeles in December 2019. The price achieved of USD 4,075.00 (€ 3,629.64) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Tony DeLap achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Ozanam, 1989 in September last year with an auction result of USD 57,075.00 (€ 58,341.00).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Razz, 1980 von Tony DeLap wurde im Dezember 2019 in der Auktion Contemporary Art & Editions Online bei Bonhams in Los Angeles versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 4.075,00 (€ 3.629,64) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 3.000,00 – 5.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Tony DeLap erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Ozanam, 1989 im September letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 57.075,00 (€ 58.341,00).
