Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Tsang Tsou Choi achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in Hong Kong in October 2015. In the Contemporary Asian Art auction, the work King'S Map sold for HKD 162,500.00 (€ 18,984.33) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 80,000.00. Admittedly, works by Tsang Tsou Choi have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Calligraphy in October 2013 with an auction result of HKD 1,840,000.00 (€ 174,606.44).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Tsang Tsou Choi erzielte im Oktober 2015 bei Sothebys in Hong Kong einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Contemporary Asian Art wurde die Arbeit King'S Map für HKD 162.500,00 (€ 18.984,33) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 80.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Tsang Tsou Choi auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Calligraphy im Oktober 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 1.840.000,00 (€ 174.606,44).
