Auction result well in line with expectations
In September 2006 Christies in New York held the auction Japanese and Korean Art, which included the work Nogaku zue (Illustrations of Noh plays) by Tsukioka Kogyo. It changed hands for a price of USD 1,440.00 (€ 1,135.02) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of USD 1,000.00 – 1,500.00. Other works by Tsukioka Kogyo have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in May 2021 the work Three kacho-ga woodblock prints was auctioned for GBP 1,260.00 (€ 1,466.04).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im September 2006 führte Christies in New York die Auktion Japanese and Korean Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Nogaku zue (Illustrations of Noh plays) von Tsukioka Kogyo zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von USD 1.440,00 (€ 1.135,02) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 1.000,00 – 1.500,00. Andere Arbeiten von Tsukioka Kogyo konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im Mai 2021 die Arbeit Three kacho-ga woodblock prints für GBP 1.260,00 (€ 1.466,04) versteigert.
