This artwork by Vagrich Bakhchanyan achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in London in September 2021. In the Escape Artists – The Non-Conformists Online auction, the work Telegram No.2, Telegram No.4, Telegram No.5 and Telegram No.11 (four works) sold for GBP 6,300.00 (€ 7,330.14) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 3,000.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Vagrich Bakhchanyan; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Stalin Test sold at auction in February 2007 with the realized price of GBP 6,000.00 (€ 8,894.78).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Vagrich Bakhchanyan erzielte im September 2021 bei Sothebys in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Escape Artists – The Non-Conformists Online wurde die Arbeit Telegram No.2, Telegram No.4, Telegram No.5 and Telegram No.11 (four works) für GBP 6.300,00 (€ 7.330,14) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 3.000,00. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Vagrich Bakhchanyan; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Stalin Test im Februar 2007 mit dem Hammerpreis von GBP 6.000,00 (€ 8.894,78).
