Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Picasso regardant Nusch by Valentine Hugo was auctioned at Bonhams in London in March 2021. The price achieved of GBP 3,187.50 (€ 3,744.49) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 2,500.00 – 3,500.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Valentine Hugo achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Portrait d'Arthur Rimbaud in March last year with an auction result of GBP 1,042,750.00 (€ 1,236,297.48).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Picasso regardant Nusch von Valentine Hugo kam im März 2021 bei Bonhams in London zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 3.187,50 (€ 3.744,49) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 2.500,00 – 3.500,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Valentine Hugo erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Portrait d'Arthur Rimbaud im März letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 1.042.750,00 (€ 1.236.297,48).
