In the Russian Works of Art auction, the work A Bronze Group Of A Hunter With Two Borzoi sold for GBP 16,250.00 (€ 20,540.54) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 7,000.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Vasily Grachev; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot A Bronze Group Of A Mounted Cossack With Hounds sold at auction in April 2008 with the realized price of USD 46,000.00 (€ 29,547.79).
