Auction result misses estimated price range
When the work Venetian Beauties by Vicente Palmaroli was auctioned at Christies in London in November 2004, the result was somewhat disappointing. The auction house had previously given the estimated price as a range of GBP 25,000.00 – 35,000.00, of which not even the lower limit was reached - in fact, the artwork changed hands for GBP 17,925.00 (€ 25,785.02). However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Vicente Palmaroli - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Spanish In The Studio , which sold at auction in February 2019 for USD 100,000.00 (€ 87,881.18).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Als die Arbeit Venetian Beauties von Vicente Palmaroli im November 2004 bei Christies in London versteigert wurde, fiel das Ergebnis ein wenig enttäuschend aus. Das Auktionshaus hatte den Schätzpreis zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 25.000,00 – 35.000,00 angegeben, von der nicht einmal die Untergrenze erreicht wurde - tatsächlich wechselte das Kunstwerk für GBP 17.925,00 (€ 25.785,02) den Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Vicente Palmaroli mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Spanish In The Studio beobachtet, die im Februar 2019 für USD 100.000,00 (€ 87.881,18) versteigert wurde.
