Auction result misses estimated price range
When the work Land'S End by Victor Elford was auctioned at Christies in London in April 2004, the result was somewhat disappointing. The auction house had previously given the estimated price as a range of GBP 400.00 – 600.00, of which not even the lower limit was reached - in fact, the artwork changed hands for GBP 358.50 (€ 322.09). Other works by Victor Elford have also sold for higher prices; the highest price we have seen at auction so far was achieved in August 2004 by the work Sunshine And Showers, Nr Pillaton, Cornwall at GBP 358.50 (€ 530.58).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Als die Arbeit Land'S End von Victor Elford im April 2004 bei Christies in London versteigert wurde, fiel das Ergebnis ein wenig enttäuschend aus.
