Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Victor Vasarely could be acquired at Bruun Rasmussen in August this year for an unexpectedly low price. In the Modern art and design auction, the work Composition changed hands for DKK 2,600.00 (€ 348.78) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of DKK 3,000.00 – 4,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Victor Vasarely achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Altaï Iii in February 2010 with an auction result of GBP 565,250.00 (€ 630,588.93).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Victor Vasarely konnte im August diesen Jahres bei Bruun Rasmussen für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Modern art and design wechselte die Arbeit Composition für DKK 2.600,00 (€ 348,78) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von DKK 3.000,00 – 4.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Victor Vasarely erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Altaï Iii im Februar 2010 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 565.250,00 (€ 630.588,93).
