In August this year Bruun Rasmussen held the auction A Clear Form, which included the work “Hexa 5” by Victor Vasarely. The »bidding war« ended at DKK 6,500.00 (€ 871.94), 30% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Victor Vasarely achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Altaï Iii in February 2010 with an auction result of GBP 565,250.00 (€ 630,588.93).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 30 % übertroffen
Im August diesen Jahres führte Bruun Rasmussen die Auktion A Clear Form durch, in der auch die Arbeit “Hexa 5” von Victor Vasarely zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von DKK 6.500,00 (€ 871,94) und damit 30% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Victor Vasarely erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Altaï Iii im Februar 2010 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 565.250,00 (€ 630.588,93).
