The auction ended at the price of DKK 6,000.00 (€ 805.89), which exactly corresponded to the pre-set estimate of DKK 6,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Victor Vasarely achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Altaï Iii in February 2010 with an auction result of GBP 565,250.00 (€ 630,588.93).

Die Arbeit “Planetary Folklore Participation No 1“ von Victor Vasarely kam im Februar diesen Jahres bei Bruun Rasmussen zur Auktion. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von DKK 6.000,00 (€ 805,89) entsprach exakt dem Schätzpreis von DKK 6.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Victor Vasarely erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Altaï Iii im Februar 2010 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 565.250,00 (€ 630.588,93).
