Auction result misses estimated price range
In November 2014 a collector was able to acquire the work New Communist Generation by Vikenty Pavlovich Trofimov for GBP 23,750.00 (€ 29,860.31). This price was achieved in the auction Important Russian Art at Sothebys in London and was even below the estimate range of GBP 25,000.00 – 35,000.00 set by the auction house. Admittedly, works by Vikenty Pavlovich Trofimov have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Kazakhs with a horse at a crossing in June 2008 with an auction result of GBP 97,250.00 (€ 122,927.26).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im November 2014 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit New Communist Generation von Vikenty Pavlovich Trofimov für GBP 23.750,00 (€ 29.860,31) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Important Russian Art bei Sothebys in London erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 25.000,00 – 35.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Vikenty Pavlovich Trofimov auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Kazakhs with a horse at a crossing im Juni 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 97.250,00 (€ 122.927,26).
