This artwork by Vincent Balfour Browne achieved an unexpectedly high price at Bonhams in Edinburgh in September 2020. In the The Sporting & Wildlife Sale auction, the work Highland Stag in Winter Landscape sold for GBP 1,657.50 (€ 1,827.66) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 800.00. Admittedly, works by Vincent Balfour Browne have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work 'That'S Torn It' in December 2017 with an auction result of GBP 8,125.00 (€ 9,143.50).

Dieses Kunstwerk von Vincent Balfour Browne erzielte im September 2020 bei Bonhams in Edinburgh einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion The Sporting & Wildlife Sale wurde die Arbeit Highland Stag in Winter Landscape für GBP 1.657,50 (€ 1.827,66) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 800,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Vincent Balfour Browne auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit 'That'S Torn It' im Dezember 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 8.125,00 (€ 9.143,50).
