In January 2012 Christies in London held the auction The Sunday Sale, which included the work Stag Looking Back In A Misty Highland Landscape by Vincent Balfour Browne. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 2,250.00 (€ 2,715.58), 50% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Vincent Balfour Browne - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work 'That'S Torn It', which sold at auction in December 2017 for GBP 8,125.00 (€ 9,143.50).

Im Januar 2012 führte Christies in London die Auktion The Sunday Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit Stag Looking Back In A Misty Highland Landscape von Vincent Balfour Browne zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 2.250,00 (€ 2.715,58) und damit 50% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Vincent Balfour Browne mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit 'That'S Torn It' beobachtet, die im Dezember 2017 für GBP 8.125,00 (€ 9.143,50) versteigert wurde.
