Auction result well in line with expectations
In March 2021 Christies in Paris held the auction Figures d'exception. Dessins anciens provenant d'une collection privée., which included the work Une Crave À Bec Rouge (Pyrrhocorax Pyrrhocorax L.) by Vincenzo Leonardi. The price achieved of EUR 25,000.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 20,000.00 – 30,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Vincenzo Leonardi - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Une Grande Outarde (Otis Tarda L.), which sold at auction in March 2021 for EUR 60,000.00.

Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 25.000,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 20.000,00 – 30.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Vincenzo Leonardi mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Une Grande Outarde (Otis Tarda L.) beobachtet, die im März 2021 für EUR 60.000,00 versteigert wurde.
