Auction result misses estimated price range
In July 2014 a collector was able to acquire the work Portrait Of A Boy, Three-Quarter Length by Vittore Ghislandi for GBP 74,500.00 (€ 93,967.92). This price was achieved in the auction Old Master & British Paintings Evening Sale at Sothebys in London and was even below the estimate range of GBP 80,000.00 – 120,000.00 set by the auction house. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Vittore Ghislandi - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Portrait Of A Young Man In A Green Tunic, which sold at auction in July 2011 for GBP 325,250.00 (€ 373,273.03).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Juli 2014 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Portrait Of A Boy, Three-Quarter Length von Vittore Ghislandi für GBP 74.500,00 (€ 93.967,92) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Old Master & British Paintings Evening Sale bei Sothebys in London erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 80.000,00 – 120.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Vittore Ghislandi mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Portrait Of A Young Man In A Green Tunic beobachtet, die im Juli 2011 für GBP 325.250,00 (€ 373.273,03) versteigert wurde.
