Auction result well in line with expectations
In December 2007 Artcurial in Paris held the auction 20th Century Indian Art, which included the work "Between One Shore And Several Others", 2007 by Vivek Vilasini. It changed hands for a price of EUR 4,957.00 achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of EUR 4,000.00 – 5,000.00. Admittedly, works by Vivek Vilasini have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Untitled (Last Supper) Edition 1 Of 5 in September 2008 with an auction result of USD 42,500.00 (€ 30,182.52).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Dezember 2007 führte Artcurial in Paris die Auktion 20th Century Indian Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit "Between One Shore And Several Others", 2007 von Vivek Vilasini zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von EUR 4.957,00 den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 4.000,00 – 5.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Vivek Vilasini auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Untitled (Last Supper) Edition 1 Of 5 im September 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 42.500,00 (€ 30.182,52).
