The work Portrait de Ho Chi Minh by Vu Cao Dam was auctioned at Bonhams in Paris in June this year. It achieved a price of EUR 2,816.00 exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 41 %. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Vu Cao Dam achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Femmes au bain (Women Bathing) in December 2020 with an auction result of HKD 8,050,000.00 (€ 849,100.57).

Die Arbeit Portrait de Ho Chi Minh von Vu Cao Dam kam im Juni diesen Jahres bei Bonhams in Paris zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von EUR 2.816,00 und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 41 %. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Vu Cao Dam erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Femmes au bain (Women Bathing) im Dezember 2020 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 8.050.000,00 (€ 849.100,57).
