Auction result fails to reach estimate
In January 2024 a collector was able to acquire this work without title by Walasse Ting for DKK 2,000.00 (€ 1,747.95). This price was achieved in the auction Modern art and design at Bruun Rasmussen and was even lower than the DKK 4,000.00 estimate set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Walasse Ting achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work I Love Summer Long in May 2018 with an auction result of HKD 6,820,000.00 (€ 745,115.68).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt den Schätzpreis
Im Januar 2024 konnte ein Sammler diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Walasse Ting für DKK 2.000,00 (€ 1.747,95) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Modern art and design bei Bruun Rasmussen erzielt und lag noch unterhalb des vom Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreises von DKK 4.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Walasse Ting erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit I Love Summer Long im Mai 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 6.820.000,00 (€ 745.115,68).
