A top price for Wang Guangle - as previously expected
The work TERRAZZO NO. 12 by Wang Guangle was auctioned at Christies in Hong Kong in November 2016. It changed hands for a price of HKD 4,860,000.00 (€ 592,223.48) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of HKD 3,000,000.00 – 5,000,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, TERRAZZO NO. 12 is the most expensive artwork by Wang Guangle that we have observed at auctions so far.

Die Arbeit TERRAZZO NO. 12 von Wang Guangle kam im November 2016 bei Christies in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von HKD 4.860.000,00 (€ 592.223,48) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 3.000.000,00 – 5.000.000,00. Auch wenn das Ergebnis damit nicht positiv überraschen konnte, ist TERRAZZO NO. 12 das teuerste Kunstwerk von Wang Guangle, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
