The work Botanical Illustration by Wang Jieyin was sold in the Modern and Contemporary Art auction at POLY in Hong Kong in October 2017. The »bidding war« ended at HKD 212,400.00 (€ 23,377.13), 18% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Wang Jieyin have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Green Pavilion in October 2020 with an auction result of HKD 1,071,000.00 (€ 118,621.96).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Botanical Illustration von Wang Jieyin wurde im Oktober 2017 in der Auktion Modern and Contemporary Art bei POLY in Hong Kong versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von HKD 212.400,00 (€ 23.377,13) und damit 18% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Wang Jieyin auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Green Pavilion im Oktober 2020 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 1.071.000,00 (€ 118.621,96).
