Auction result well in line with expectations
In March this year VAN HAM held the auction Three-dimensional | ONLINE ONLY, which included the work The Artist's Hand. by Ai Weiwei. The price achieved of EUR 3,960.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Ai Weiwei achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Circle of Animals / Zodiac Heads in June 2015 with an auction result of GBP 3,442,500.00 (€ 4,853,881.79).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im März diesen Jahres führte VAN HAM die Auktion Three-dimensional | ONLINE ONLY durch, in der auch die Arbeit The Artist's Hand. von Ai Weiwei zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 3.960,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 3.000,00 – 5.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Ai Weiwei erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Circle of Animals / Zodiac Heads im Juni 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 3.442.500,00 (€ 4.853.881,79).
