Auction result well in line with expectations

The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of EUR 1,800.00 – 2,200.00, the actual price achieved of EUR 1,875.00 could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Admittedly, works by Werner Bischof have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work White Paper-Roll, Negative Et White Paper-Roll, Positive , 1938 in November 2015 with an auction result of EUR 8,750.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Waschtag Koje-do, Korea. von Werner Bischof kam im November 2014 bei Grisebach zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von EUR 1.800,00 – 2.200,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von EUR 1.875,00 konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Werner Bischof auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit White Paper-Roll, Negative Et White Paper-Roll, Positive , 1938 im November 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 8.750,00.
