A top price for Werner Weiskönig - as previously expected
The work Arosa by Werner Weiskönig was auctioned at Christies in London in June 2014. The result of GBP 1,500.00 (€ 1,874.18) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 1,500.00 – 2,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Arosa is the most expensive artwork by Werner Weiskönig that we have observed at auctions so far.

Die Arbeit Arosa von Werner Weiskönig kam im Juni 2014 bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von GBP 1.500,00 (€ 1.874,18) entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 1.500,00 – 2.000,00. Auch wenn das Ergebnis damit nicht positiv überraschen konnte, ist Arosa das teuerste Kunstwerk von Werner Weiskönig, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
