Auction result well in line with expectations
The work A family before a country cottage by Wilhelm Meyerheim was sold in the BRITISH AND CONTINENTAL PICTURES auction at Christies in London in May 2005. The price achieved of GBP 1,200.00 (€ 1,771.58) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 1,000.00 – 1,500.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Wilhelm Meyerheim achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Porträt der Stettiner Fabrikantenfamilie Johannes von Quistorp am Stettiner Haff in November 2014 with an auction result of EUR 20,640.00.

Die Arbeit A family before a country cottage von Wilhelm Meyerheim wurde im Mai 2005 in der Auktion BRITISH AND CONTINENTAL PICTURES bei Christies in London versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 1.200,00 (€ 1.771,58) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 1.000,00 – 1.500,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Wilhelm Meyerheim erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Porträt der Stettiner Fabrikantenfamilie Johannes von Quistorp am Stettiner Haff im November 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 20.640,00.
